Vehicles year 1999-1996 are 81.75$+certificate
Vehicles year 1995 and below are 111.75$+certificate
How long does a smog test take?
For vehicles year 2000 and above should not take more than 15 minutes
For vehicles year 1999 and below take approximately 30-45 minutes
What is a smog check and why is it required?

What happens if my vehicle fails the smog test?
If your vehicle fails its smog test, don’t forget we offer a “Pass or Free Re-test” for all vehicles done at Hernandez Smog Check. Next step is to follow these instructions:
Find out why it failed from the test report given to you from our technician.
Fix the issues identified in the report with your mechanic.
Return for your free retest after making repairs.
Once your vehicle is ready and it passes all the tests required, you will receive your certificate, and everything will be sent electronically to the DMV.
What should you not do before a smog test?
Avoid engine modifications!
Don't disconnect the battery!
Avoid testing when your check engine light is on!
